A massive wave in the distance, near Pebble Beach, CA. A large western swell hit the west coast on Dec 4 and 5, creating massive waves in this unique area called "Ghost Tree." Some waves exceeded 30 feet. Surfers use jet skis to tow them in to catch each wave, and extract them before the next one crushes them.
